Shootouts
Shootouts bring the great confrontations of the Wild West to life. We wanted these to be special moments with high risk and high reward. When you trigger a shootout the cameras, the music and even the gameplay change dramatically!
As you battle you’ll see a the clock icon next to your character’s abilities when it hits high noon you can choose to trigger a Shootout with an enemy. Any character can activate it when they are selected and pick a target in range.
After a slight dramatic build up you’ll be taken out of turn based tactics mode for a few seconds where you’ll try to time your draw to take out the enemy. You only have a moment so you’ll need to time it right and draw fast.
To the winner go the spoils. Shootouts do big damage and give morale bonuses if you win. There’s always the risk the enemy will be the faster gun and it’ll be your trip to boot hill.
